Operational
After a number of weeks waiting for domain redirects to expire and an extra 72 hours spent resolving DNS issues, I can finally say (with some degree of confidence) that the new jasonilagan.com is now operational.
I’ve decided to set up my portfolio on Tumblr for a number of reasons:
- Sharing and publishing content is extremely quick and easy
- Tumblr templates are highly customisable
- Flexibility and mobility (thanks to the Tumblr API and its Google Analytics-friendly demeanour)
- They let you use custom domains
