One helluva rockshow.

In this incredibly grainy clip you might be able to make out some boob flashing.

This little fella’s nest was blown off a tree up high during massive storms in Sydney one weekend.
Two of his siblings did not survive the fall.
My dad lined an old brass pot with newspaper, tethered it off the backyard fence and placed the baby bird in it, in the hope that its mother would find it.
Not long after this photo was taken, we spotted the mother reunited with its baby, ready to nourish and look after it.

I attended the US Election Party held by Sydney University’s United States Studies Centre at Manning Bar to watch the results.

Although the majority of the 1500-strong crowd were pro-Democrat/Obama, there were punters of all political stripes amongst us.

It was Australia’s largest election party, and also featured in a live cross as part of CNN’s election night coverage.

More US Election Party pics here.
