About

I take photos, shoot and edit video, write copy and produce content across multiple platforms.

I'm currently a Digital Content and Video Producer for Southern Cross Austereo's Today Network and Triple M.

I can also do things on the side.

Lady Gaga’s Fans: Monsters

Southern Cross Austereo was a presenting partner for Lady Gaga’s “Sydney Monster Hall” concert in July 2011. I was the project lead for the execution of the event (concert and behind the scenes footage, photos, updates and social media) across the metropolitan and regional Today Network radio websites.

One content initiative was the concept of “MonStars”, placing the spotlight on Lady Gaga’s super fans (a play on “monsters”, of course) and following their journey from winning event tickets all the way to the concert itself.

Four competition winners were profiled alongside their social media presences online as well as a series of videos, including the one above, which I produced, shot and edited.

Miley Cyrus / thedirt.com.au interview.

Andrew Gunsberg and Charli Robinson spoke to Miley Cyrus at her hotel during the Sydney leg of her Gypsy Heart tour.

Miley was very warm, down to earth, and extremely, extremely talkative. The latter especially came true when she revealed what she really thought of Perez Hilton and Justin Bieber.

The Script and Tinie Tempah, Sydney, April 2011.

I was pleasantly surprised with the way things turned out here.

Admittedly The Script’s sound isn’t my cup of tea however my perceptions changed watching them live. Lead by Danny O’Donoghue, the band were absolutely bursting with energy, taking the sell out crowd along with them for the ride.

To cap things off, O’Donoghue jumped into the photo pit towards the back half of the third song (we were given three songs to shoot) and reached out to the crowd over the barriers. What a sight!

Needless to say fellow snappers were simply beside themselves.

Russell Crowe. MTV Hits Weekly Hot30 Countdown.

This was my first ever video to appear on MTV, covering the Australian premiere of The Next Three Days.

I shot the red carpet event for the Today Network’s Hot30 Countdown and The Dirt. The footage was then featured on the MTV Hits Weekly Hot30 Countdown program, a joint production between Austereo and MTV Networks.

I shot, edited and produced a video story for The Dirt, presented by Melissa Hoyer.

Iggy Pop, Big Day Out Sydney 2011.

I attended (and photographed) my first Big Day Out on Australia Day.

What a sight to behold. Chasing around a shirtless Iggy Pop throwing himself around the stage with my camera was both a challenge and a pleasure.

Although I felt totally drained and absolutely exhausted at the end of the day, this was fun.

More of my photos appear on 2DayFM.

I met The Hoff.

David Hasselhoff reenacted a scene from what he called “the worst episode ever” from Baywatch with Matty Acton and Abby Coleman for the Hot30 Countdown.

It was an absolute honour to be in his presence.

Dirt TV - daily online entertainment show, Austereo.

I’ve recently started working as a video producer for Dirt TV, an entertainment-based online show that is produced daily for the Today Network.

Dirt TV is a quick wrap up of the day’s events and supplements the entertainment news read on-air and online at thedirt.com.au.

Episodes of Dirt TV are also syndicated to YouTube.

Australia’s Next Top Model 2010 Finale

The coverage was first intended to detail all the action from backstage and the red carpet, plus an interview with the winner.

Of course, things turned out slightly differently and I found myself producing another video piece when host Sarah Murdoch announced the wrong winner live on TV.
